Custom Embroidery
Embroidery vs. Printing: Which One Should Your Team Order?
Both methods are good; they are good at different things. Choosing correctly saves you from a reorder six months later.
Choose embroidery when
The garment is outerwear or a knit polo, the logo is a compact mark and wordmark, each person needs their own name, and the piece should look professional for years of washing. Stitched thread does not crack, peel or fade the way a printed film can.
Choose printing when
The artwork is a large illustration with fine detail, photographic imagery or many colors — the kind of design on our boutique tees. Printing handles full-front and all-over artwork that would be impractical to stitch.
How teams usually mix the two
Embroidered jackets, vests and polos for the professional layer; printed tees and hoodies for events, fundraisers and gifts. Same logo, two production methods, each used where it performs best.
